Creative director and co-founder, Rachel Vasicek, designed this collection during one of the most special seasons of her own life—while expecting her first baby. “I wanted to capture the nostalgia of summers past with the excitement of new traditions,” says Rachel. “Jewellery has always marked memories, and this collection is about celebrating the ones that mean the most.”
The campaign, shot against the sun-drenched backdrop of Byron Bay, captures the spirit of the Australian summer: carefree days, magical nights, and the joy of making memories with the people you love. It’s more than jewellery—it’s a love letter to summer itself.

Handmade With Heart in Tasmania
Francesca Jewellery began at Hobart’s Salamanca Market in 2005, where sisters Rachel and Hannah Vasicek sold their first handmade pieces under the name Handmade by Hannah. Today, that spirit of craftsmanship is still at the heart of the brand.
A remarkable 39% of the In The Summertime collection is handmade in Francesca’s Hobart studio by a team of skilled women artisans. Each bead is carefully strung, each detail thoughtfully considered—a reflection of everything the sisters have learned since those early market days.
“Craftsmanship has evolved so much over the past 15 years,” says Hannah, Francesca’s CEO. “What you see in our handmade pieces today reflects that journey, and making in Tasmania continues to be something we’re deeply proud of.”
