One of the perks of our Franc Create range, is the ability to design your own piece and change the chains or charms of your pieces depending on your mood or outfit! Almost giving jewellery that DIY, homemade pearl necklace feel, we love that you can create your own pearl pendant.
How to Make your own Pearl Necklace
1. Find your favourite base
Choose between our 50cm or 80cm adjustable chains in sterling silver, 14k rose and 14k yellow gold plated (3 microns on silver). These chains are our most simple and timeless options however we’ve also been loving our new favourite textured chains, the bobble chain and rope chain. The bobble chain adds an amazing element of texture to your look and pairs beautifully with the rope chain for a layered look.
2. Pick out your pearl charm
The pearl charm features an 8mm freshwater pearl and is a traditional design for pearl lovers. Our keshi charm (saltwater pearl) is approximately 10mm in size and features a beautiful natural shape to add a unique texture to your pendant. Our trio pearl charm features three 4mm freshwater pearls and is approximately 18mm in length. A beautiful piece to add to our create hoops or wear on a pendant for an elongated piece. Lastly, our river pearl charm is one of our favourites for pendants featuring a freshwater baroque keshi pearl for a statement piece. The best part? You can easily alternate between them!
3. Design your piece
Take inspiration from our Shore Necklace and Zodiac Pearl Necklace. Either keep it simple with a pearl charm or personalise your piece with charms which have their own special meaning to you. Some of our personal favourites to pair with pearls include the alpha charm, cosmos charm and Ingot birthstone charm.
4. Enjoy!
Your charms will arrive fully attached to the chain if you order online or will be completely assembled for you in store. Our charms are easy to slide on and off the chain, we know you’ll love the versatility of this feature as much as we do!
