Which TV Friendship are you?

Which TV Friendship are you?

With the release of the Collective Collection we can’t help but think back on the friendships and connections that have meant a lot to us, ones that we have desperately longed to be part of... just to be clear, we’re getting all nostalgic over fictional friendships. Yep, forget Taylor Swift and her band of babes, we’re talking TV squad goals! So what better time than to share a few of our faves.

Friends - Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Ross.
Ok, so there was no way in hell that they could afford those apartments, but you can’t deny how much fun it would be to live across from your besties! The closest any of us got was when Rachel and Kelsie lived together. But unlike the friends of Friends, they didn’t have a coffee shop that was conveniently located in the same building. Friends taught us that there’s really nothing better than hanging out with your well...friends, even if you’re doing something as low-key as hanging out at a coffee shop.

Sex and The City - Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda
The O.G. lady squad before anyone even used the word squad, Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda inspired a generation of women and can probably be blamed for a lot of credit card debt! Strutting around the streets of Manhattan in the highest of heels, these ladies knew that it’s our differences that make us special. Whether they were attending fashion shows or gossiping about Samantha’s latest conquest, they did it the way they did everything, with impeccable style and a hilarious attitude.

Orphan Black - Sarah, Cosima, Alison & Helena
As half the office has recently binged this series (thank you Stan), we had to include Orphan Black. Sure there was a bit of backstabbing (and literal stabbing), but in the end these gals were all sestres. Through thick and thin, life, death and clone drama, nothing could tear these four identical, but super duper different, babes apart. We may not be talking actors, but you cannot mention Orphan Black without giving props to the fabulous Tatiana Maslany. From science geek Cosima to the uptight suburbian Alison and rebel punk Sarah, she had us convinced that they were all different people!

Riverdale - Veronica, Archie, Betty and Jughead
A newer addition to the #squadgoals, the teens of Riverdale do it all, from cheerleading to singing and did we mention, attempting to catch killers!? A little darker than their comic book cousins, this fearsome foursome kinda make murder mysteries look fun, which is a little strange when you think about it. Sure there are lessons of friendship, loyalty and how to catch murderers, but the real takeaway of Riverdale is that redheads are hot!! Seeing as KJ Apa (Archie) is a Kiwi, we’re going to claim him and send an open invite for him to visit the Franc Office anytime.

One Tree Hill - Brooke, Peyton, Haley, Nathan & Luke
Romantic entanglements and drama aside, we couldn’t help but wish we could be part of the Tree Hill crew. Of course if you were anything like us, that would also require some basketball or cheerleading skills, which we severely lack (Kelsie & Hannah excepted). Sure the gang of One Tree Hill made us feel a little like underachievers, but it showed that in the end (even if you all date each other) friendship and the people around you are what matter most.
